My Career Journey So Far

Career Experience

Here you will see what I have accomplished and worked towards so far in my career as a high school science educator. I have seen schools all over Indiana, as well as schools in other countries. I want to continue my career journey internationally. My goal is to bring my experiences from different cultures to my own classroom in the hopes of establishing cultural awareness and encourage academic and personal growth for my students.

High School Pharmacology Teacher

For the school year 2023-2024, I partnered with Duke University to implement pharmacology as an advanced science elective course. Using resources and information from Duke University, I have personally crafted lessons, labs, and activities to inspire students interested in pharmacy, medical science, and forensics.

High School Chemistry Teacher

Since 2021, I have been teaching chemistry I-1 and I-2 collaboratively with my peers. I have modified existing materials to fit my style and meet the needs of my students.

High School Biology Teacher

Since 2021, I have been collaboratively teaching biology I-1 and I-2 with my peers. I have taken charge of completely revamping the biology curriculum to meet the new standards set by the state for the year of 2023, where we are now teaching things we never once covered before. Modifying and adapting for a variety level of students has become second nature.

Graduation Coordinator

I have been the graduation coordinator since the graduating class of 2022. I take charge of creating a slideshow of every graduating senior's baby and senior photos, organizing seating arrangements, facilitating gown drop offs and picking up diplomas, aiding class officers in speeches, as well as formally decorating our gymnasium.
